Martina Moon Zelenika

artina Moon Zelenika is a Croatian transdisciplinary artist, Assistant Professor of New Media Art, and designer working at the intersection of art, science, and technology.

At the centre of her practice is expanded drawing: a generative and cognitive process for investigating perception and the relationships between the visible and invisible, human and more-than-human worlds, intuition and computation. Her freehand drawings are created intuitively and without preliminary sketches, recording processes of concentration, observation, and inquiry.

In her post-digital works, sound, data, and material signals are shaped into experiential fields that reveal complexity, interdependence, and distributed forms of intelligence. Her work has been presented at exhibitions, festivals, and conferences across Europe and Asia.

Through MOON ROOM, Zelenika approaches space as an artistic medium in its own right: a site for dialogue, research, and direct encounters between contemporary artistic practice and its audiences.

An 18 m² framework

MOON ROOM begins from the premise that architecture is not a neutral backdrop, but an active medium of artistic experience. Its compact footprint becomes a creative advantage: a futuristic, minimalist interior foregrounds light, proportion, height, and the possibility of flexible installations.

The space supports focused exhibitions, artistic production, small-group research, private viewings, and conversations in close proximity to the work.
